2024 BIAN Support Group Summit
In early November we held our third annual Support Group Summit here at UW-Eau Claire. BIAW staff as well as staff and student clinicians from the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department from UW-EC met with survivors, family members, and caregivers from across the state. We talked about resource facilitation, peer to peer support, education development and developing an advocacy agenda. Our Caregiver Connection meeting was very well attended. This was the first year there were children’s education and activities offered as well. Everyone worked very hard to make this a success and we received some great feedback. Thank you to all of the survivors, caregivers and family and students that attended this year!
